- GRIDS: a set of invisible lines (vertical and horizontal) that holds your design together like glue. The structure is designed in columns and rows of equal spacing with a margin (from the printer world, we call this a gutter) between each.

- If you did not have a unique page (correct title, placeholder content) for each of your pages, correct this now
- If you did, begin working on the refined design
- Goal: visualize the modularity that will be required to build your sites
